Cafe con Leche
Café con leche is a deliciously balanced coffee beverage that requires an artisan’s touch. First, you make espresso like normal and then ‘scald’ the milk with a steam wand - just shy of boiling but hot enough for everyone to feel it! All in all, café con leche comes together as if brewed by magic… or at least some serious barista skills.


  • 1/4 cup of our Espresso Gold for more rich and full bodied taste
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar or more to taste
  • Pinch of salt optional 


  • Brew the espresso. Set aside.
  • In a saucepan, heat the milk until very hot. Remove it from the heat and transfer to a coffee mug. Stir in the sugar.
  • Once you’ve heated the milk and coffee is ready, start with 1/4 cup of coffee. Pour coffee into the mug and stir until light brown color.
  • Adjust the taste as necessary. If you want more coffee flavor, add more coffee. If you want it sweeter, you can add more sugar. If you want to elevate the flavor, you can add a very small pinch of salt to the cafe con leche. Enjoy!
